The Cowboy Heritage Auction has
grown to be the biggest Old West Collector Event in South Dakota
and
the most popular winter Old West Event in the northern United States.
This is a fast-moving, high-quality
auction that features something for everyone interested in Cowboy and Old
West history and memorabilia, from beginners to advanced collectors. Its
a good place to learn and have fun.
The Cowboy Heritage Auction is a
Black Hills Stock Show Foundation event.
Commissions from the sale go to the
Foundation for youth scholarships, support of the Western Jr. Livestock
Show, and the annual Foundation Grant Program.
The sale is organized, managed,
presented and auctioneered by an entire staff of volunteer help.
This Cowboy Heritage Auction has, to
date, raised over $20,000 contributing to the total of over $68,000 that
the Foundation has given back to the Rapid City Community and West River
Region in the name of Black Hills Stock Show through 20 Youth
Scholarships, support of the Western Jr. Livestock Show and their Annual
Grant Program.
