Ramkota Convention Center
February 5, 2014
Doors open at 5 pm
Dinner served at 6 pm

The busy days of the Black Hills Stock Show and Rodeo test the endurance of all who attend. The Stockman’s Banquet and Ball held Wednesday evening allows all to draw a deep breath, relax and enjoy the beautiful decor, music, and camaraderie while dining on a fantastic beef meal at the Ramkota Convention Center.  We extend our congratulations to Don Ravellette and Donnie Leddy of Cattle Business Weekly, Greg Butman and Jerry Hammerquist for the honors to be bestowed on them during the Banquet and Ball.  They are great representatives for the entire agriculture industry.       [ More ]

Black Hills Stock Show Foundation steps into the spotlight each year during the Banquet and Ball to present the scholarship recipients with their $2000 scholarships. The quantity and quality of the scholarship applications we receive each year is truly incredible and reinforces the caliber of the students soon to be entering our ag-related professional realms. Many of these winning students will pursue South Dakota careers supporting agriculture and the agricultural way of life through a variety of excellent and varied venues. Good luck to all of the winners and know that we will always be proud to have been a part of your educational goals.  [ More ]

FIRST SATURDAY of the 2015

The BHSSF Board of Directors regrets to announce that due to unforeseen circumstances, the 2015 “Heritage XXI Old West Collectibles Auction” is being cancelled.

We hope the Auction will return in 2016 to fill the Theatre Stage with
collectibles of the Old West and the sounds of the Auctioneer’s Chants.

Our thanks to Win and Diana Bauer for their many years of effort and
